Forest Friends, Quilted and Bound

I finished binding Sew Fresh Quilt's Forest Friends last week.  This is my niece's graduation quilt.  It is 63"x 78".

The blocks are all traditionally pieced, not paper pieced.

Denise Zapf of Quilting Mojo did the longarming.  She chose a light brown variegated thread that has hints of yellow and orange in it.

My niece is working on her Girl Scout Gold Award, so I used Girl Scout fabric for the backing.

Stash Report:

Used this week: 4.5 yards ( backing and binding Forest Friends)
Used YTD: 87.375 yards
Added this week: 0 yards
Added YTD: 52.125 yards
Net:  -35.25 yards

Laura, your niece's quilt is a triumph! So much beautiful detail to see as the eyes wander over this quilt. You could not have chosen a more perfect backing fabric; the girl scout theme is just fabulous. Lovely quilting, too. Your niece will treasure this beauty forevermore.
