One day when it was slow at work, I started an embroidery project. I can't do cross stitch there because the light isn't good enough for my old eyes. I can do stamped embroidery, though, and I enjoyed making this snowman. The red shading is printed on the fabric. The pattern showed all of the stitching in red, but I got tired of red and added a little green and gold.
I haven't done a stamped project since I was about 8 years old!

Pretty. It's nice to do something a little different from the norm from time to time.
Very nice !!!! I am looking for Snowmen and haven't had any luck. I like what you did .. The frame !!! what a great idea ... I would love to do something like that for Christmas, can you tell me how you found it ??? I would appreciate it .. thank you so so much !! Rosemary
Lovely - I like to do stitcheries too. How did you manage to stitch at work - are you the boss?
Rosemary, you are a no reply blogger, so I can't send you a message. Just google cross stitch flatfolds, and you will find many tutorials for this technique.
Love it!
This is adorable!
