Kathryn Kerr's 365 Block Challenge

I m participating in Kathryn Kerr's 365 Block Challenge this year.   http://www.365challenge.com.au/
I saw that this quilt last year but had too much going on to participate.  I really like the completed quilt, though, and when I saw she was running it again this year, I decided to jump in.  I have completed almost all of January's blocks.  They start off super simple, but I have worked ahead a little, and I can tell you that if you are afraid of itty bitty pieces, don't even start this project!  The blocks I've done so far are all 3 1/2".

Sounds like a lot of precise stitching is involved, but it does sound like a lot of fun. Your January blocks look great; love the colour choices and various patterns. This quilt will be a beauty when finished, Laura.

I have two friends who started this last year...they made it until about March and then went on to other things. Look forward to seeing your progress - that's a lot of small cutting and piecing!

Good for you! I've been tempted, but have decided not to join in. I started last year, and made it to March. As a longarmer, I've just received two of these quilts to quilt on the longarm and they are truly spectacular
