I've gotten 3 of the 5 rows of Carolina Christmas sewn together. Sewing blocks together is my least favorite part of the quilting process, so I'm allowing myself to take my time and do it in between other sewing.
Carolina Christmas is one of my favorite Bonnie Hunter patterns. I started this quilt in the fall of 2013, and the blocks have been done for about a year. This quilt is one I want to keep for myself. To see more design walls: http://www.patchworktimes.com/2015/02/02/design-wall-february-2-2015/
In non-quilting news, I'm a little worried about Keeper, our beagle.
He has been coughing a little for a couple of weeks. This weekend it started getting worse. Last night he threw up. This morning he is lethargic and won't eat. When a beagle doesn't eat, something is really wrong! I'm taking him to the vet this morning.
UPDATE: The vet found advanced cancer in Keeper's chest. I had him put to sleep this morning.

I hope that Keeper is doing better. Hopefully the vet can help.
I hope your pooch is okay. Your quilt is going to be gorgeous. The yellows bring so much light into the design. Beautiful.
Big Hugs to you, I know how hard that can be and with out much warning to prepare yourself. Please know that I shed a tear with you.
So so sorry. I can't imagine your sadness
I'm so sorry for the loss of your dear pet.
I think this is my favorite mystery also. Unfortunately, this is the only one I did not participate in. It is on my long list of quilts to make someday. Yours is beautiful.
so sorry. hugs to you.
I'm so sorry for your loss.
