My mom said it had already started to rain in Tidewater, and they already have flooding in some places. Some of the schools there have already cancelled classes for Monday.
They are telling us to expect power outages, and the lights just blinked a few minutes ago. I'm a little concerned about our trees, but we have been good about taking down the dead ones.

I hope the hurricane blows out to sea and away from everyone. Good luck.

I was about to say what Allison (Little Island Quilting) just said. Hope you are well and the storm has passed.
Saw this and wanted to tell you people in the Midwest have been praying for those in the path of the storm for days. A friend has a special place on Facebook to list the names of friends and family in Sandy's path for specific prayer.
