Rolling Waves Quilt: Nine Patch Blocks Done

I have completed all the nine patch blocks for the Rolling Waves Quilt.  Here are the 16 double nine patch blocks:

Here are the 9 double nine patch variation blocks:

And here are the blocks that do most of the work in this pattern, 24 stretched double nine patch blocks:

Here are all the blocks, so you can see the size difference in them:

I hope to get this quilt put together in the next 2 or 3 weeks.

Just look at all those perfect corners! Love that shade of blue with the red. Another fabulous quilt in the making.

I wasn't familiar with the Rolling Waves pattern, so I googled it. Wow! That is an amazing pattern, made from such relatively simple blocks. Looking forward to seeing yours together!

Hi again--after looking at these blocks I realized that the blocks you showed in your prior post were orange and blue---not orange and white as I thought when I first looked. Then I looked back through your archives and saw your first Rolling Waves quilt. It is magnificent!! I've never seen this pattern before--now I'm very interested in how it's made. I hope you are doing well and that the damage to your hands hasn't gotten any worse since it sounded pretty bad when you last posted.
