I have done no stitching at all since I finished my wool table runner. My plan was to start Sue Hillis' Dark Shadows, but the fabric I ordered never came in.
In the meantime, I should have been working on an old UFO, Eileen Bennett's Southern Sampler.
But this sampler is full of queen stitches, and I just couldn't face them.
A friend of mine just gave me a sweet little Christmas embroidery kit. I may start that.
Hope I have some actual stitching progress to report in 3 weeks!

Sometimes we just need a little break in order to get our stitching mojo back. All of your projects look like fun and interesting stitches. I hope your fabric arrives soon.
I hope your fabric comes soon, I know here the post has been really overwhelmed with all the online shopping and Christmas post. You have a lovely choice of projects, fingers crossed you can get some time to relax and stitch, keep well xx
I hadn't heard of Queen stitch so I Googled. I wonder why it's called that?? The new project looks lovely. The worst part of crafting is having to wait for supplies.
This time of year I think we all get a pass on our SAL projects. ;-) Your wool table runner turned out beautifully by the way. I hope you can find a project you'll enjoy working on for our next SAL meeting.
You’ll settle on something soon, I’m certain. I think the Bonnie Hunter is grabbing all your free time right now. 😉
I hope you have some stitching completed next time. All those projects look great pretty. It is best to tackle the stitch that you are dreading so that you don't have to dread it next time.
Looks like you have some great projects to pick from. Excited to see what you choose.
Great project to chose among!
Sweet your new embroidery project, I hope you get the fabric in the meantime, I understand how stressful it can be ... Best wishes for a Peaceful New Year !!
Hugs, Carmela
I hope it doesn't take you 3 weeks to start stitching.
