One Nation

I am so pleased to be able to report that I have made significant progress on One Nation.  I am still not excited about working on it, but I have been forcing myself to stitch on  it almost daily.  There are projects I want to start that I won't start until I finish this one.

Here's where I was at the last report:

Here's where I am now:

The stripes are almost done!   I think I might use a satin stitch and pearl cotton  instead of cross stitch for the stars.

To see what others in the group are stitching:

I love this piece. I do the same thing sometimes. I refuse to allow myself to work on other pieces until I finish something already in the works. I am committed to only having 3 cross-stitch and one knit project in the works until the smallest cross-stitch is finished...hopefully by July. Then I will let myself look at the other things on my WIP list. Try to enjoy your stitching. You are so close to finishing.

I love the starting and finishing projects so much that it motivates me to stick to one project at a time. You've made huge progress :-)

There is such a lot of hand stitching in your One Nation, but oh Laura, how lovely it looks! Keep stitching, it is going to look amazing when you have finally stitched the last stitch.

I really like how this is working out. It is a work of art that should be on show. I love it.

Wow! I love, love, love this piece. It looks fantastic! (I have a project I should really make myself work on before working on anything else. I admire your perseverance!)
