There are 10 rows in this quilt, and I already have 8 of them together. Five of the rows are sewn to each other, so I really only have a little over half to go. I should easily be able to finish this task unless I get thrown another curve ball. The latest news: I just spent the last 5 days in the hospital with colitis, possibly related to my chemo. Colitis is very painful. I've had 2 natural childbirths, and I would say it ranks up there with labor pains. The GI doctor says it will take 2-3 weeks to fully recover. Today I'm too sick to sew, which is a sad place to be!

I'm sorry to hear that Laura! I hope you will be feeling better soon.
I hope you are feeling well enough to sew again very soon, Laura. I am sorry that you have not been well. Your Falling Stars is looking wonderful. Hopefully you can get it off that design wall soon.
Too sick to sew isn't good at all. Feel better soon Laura. It feels a bit awkward to mention how beautiful your Falling Stars is.
Hope you are feeling better soon and feel like sewing again...
I hope you can meet your goal--Bonnie's mystery will be upon us before we know it. Sorry to hear you are feeling bad. I have a mild form of colitis and some meds do seem to set it off. Feel better soon!
I hope you feel better soon and that the quilting can be therapeutic. I really like the Falling Stars design. (And I, too, am among the thousands who are energized by the announcement of the new mystery quilt.)
I am sorry to hear about your colitis - I hope you back to perky and the mystery soon.
I hope you feel better soon, so you're fit and ready to start Bonnie's mystery in a month's time!
Love your star quilt! Thanks for linking up with Elm Street Quilts One Monthly Goal and good luck with your project.
Sorry to hear you are ill. Sending you prayers and positive energy for a speedy recovery. I don't like sewing long rows of blocks together either so I sew the blocks in quadrants. I divide the quilt in 4, 6 or 9 parts. I sew the blocks according to the number of parts and in the end, I only have two or three long units to sew together. I find it easier and somewhat faster (as I don't procrastinate as much) this way. Hope it helps you. Take care. ;^)
Your quilt is fabulous and I hope that you feel well enough to spend some time sewing and reach your goal.
I hope you are doing better by now. Not fun. Sorry.
