Sedona, the red and white quilt, was supposed to be my focus for August. And I have been working on it. But I accidently started another scrap quilt, which I'm really enjoying. It is Kim Brackett's Falling Stars from her Scrap-Basket Bounty book.
I only have one more row to do for Sedona, but all I want to do is sew with my batik scraps!

Laura, each time I visit you I am always amazed at your beautiful piecing! Your Sedona is a vision! I can totally understand why you have had fun playing with all those fabulous scrappy batiks. Falling Stars is such fun.
I love the falling star blocks!
I love that you "accidentally" started a new project--how did that happen?? I don't have Kim's book, but I've seen so many awesome projects from it, I think I need to pick up a copy for myself. Your Falling Stars is going to wonderful. Hope you find time to work on Sedona as well because it is stunning so far!
Falling stars is looking good. Sometimes it's much easier to start something new than to finish something old.
