Flower OBW

I bought this fabric last summer for a one block wonder:

It was about $4 a yard, and I loved the colors.  It is not the type of fabric I usually choose for OBWs, but I wanted to try it.

I was working on it in and got the strips done, but it got pushed aside for a quilt with a deadline.  I pulled it out this weekend and hope to finish the top soon.  I wish I had bought more of the stripe fabric to make a border, but I probably bought all there was on the bolt.

Stash Report:
Used this week: 0 yards
Used year to date: 117.125 yards
 Added this week: 7.75 yards
Added year to date: 139.125 yards
Net Add: 22.0 yards

That fabric would also have made a great 60 degree table runner.

Oh, that is fun fabric for a OBW! I really like how it's coming together.

It is looking pretty cool, especially seeing the pops of colour that appeared.

You truly do imagine the most amazing quilts out of a length of fabric. Love this OBW design you have imagined.
