This week I got it bound and the dimensional block appliqued on the back.
I asked my longarmer, Vicki Johnson, to use a pattern that looked like water since I consider the fish side to be the front.
I know some people don't like pantographs over applique, but I wanted to make sure everything was sewn down well. This was my first and perhaps only attempt at needle turn applique.
This quilt is 49"x 59".

I think the water quilting is really appropriate - great work!
I think the pantograph quilting design looks fabulous stitched over the fish. Love those fish. Love the lips! This quilt is a lovely finish, Laura.
I had a tight pantograph quilted over my Peter Pan quilt, to make sure that all those tiny pieces stayed where they are supposed to stay, if it gets washed very often (some pieces about 1/8th of an inch). I like the fish! She and you did a good job.
LOVE those bubbles on the fishy side!!!
Love those cute little "lippy" fish! Adorable!
