Lorna's directions were clear and easy to follow. The hardest part for me was keeping the pieces straight because where her fabric is brown, mine is white; where her fabric is white, mine is gray, and where her fabric is gray, mine is blue, I cut a few pieces wrong, but after the cutting was done, the assembly wasn't hard. I will probably make another of Lorna's pattern's next year.
Vicki Johnson of Threads that Bind Us ( http://www.threadsthatbindusquilting.com/home.html) did the longarming, and I'm very pleased with the pattern she chose. I asked for swirls or snowflakes, and I got both. She quilted this piece densely because I told her it was going to be a wall hanging.
This will probably be my last finish of 2016.

Awwww! Laura, your bear paw quilt turned out fabulous! I love that you chose to make the bear in white. This is quite striking and makes for a beautiful wall hanging. Thanks so much for quilting along!
It's beautiful!! Congrats on a wonderful finish!!
Very nice! I'm starting the quilting on one of my 'baby' Bear Paw quilts. I can't go fast, because of my elbow injury. The 2nd one is waiting to be sandwiched.
What a wonderful finish--love it!!

Your bear paw looks wonderful! Love the white bear as well as the darker back paws on the bear. TFS!
