The backing is raspberry minky.
This quilt will be a Christmas gift for my niece Emily. I still need to make a label, but it has been washed already, and I'm very pleased to say than none of the fabrics in this quilt bled, unlike the last few quilts I made. All 15 of my color catchers came out clean! Why so many color catchers? Because they are cheap, and I have had a few bad experiences.
I am counting the binding as an October finish even though I technically put the last stitch in today.
The first was Gravity:
The second was Daybreak:
I am a big fan of Jaybird Quilts' rulers and patterns!

It's a great looking quilt. I also find many of the solid fabrics feel a bit thin.
As ever Laura, it is beautiful. I too love Jaybird patterns and rulers but wish she would sell them in pdf format.
Nice quilt. I used red minke once, and it bled. I'll prewash next time. I couldn't use a pink quilt for a baby boy.
Your quilting is just perfect for this pattern... such fun and vibrant colors! I just love specialty rulers too!
Oh, I would not look forward to taking the binding off, but I suppose if it has to be done? Will you partially take out the section that needs to be removed?
Very pretty! Three quilts seems like a good goal. I really like your gravity quilt. The quilting on it is very cool!
Love all the bright solids you have used. They work great together.
The a great looking finish. The raspberry minky is super lush! I love that you have 3 finishes from the one ruler. I have gravity on my to do list. TFS!
