Bricks and Stepping Stones

I haven't worked that much on Bricks and Stepping Stones, but I got the center together.  Now it needs borders.

Since I'm having a hard time getting motivated to work on this quilt, next week's goal is just to get on the inner border.

I'm much more interested in working on the improv pieced 7 1/2 inch squares to the right of this quilt.  Not sure what I'm going to do with them, but I enjoy piecing them!

It looks a lot nicer now that it is all sewn together. It will probably all come together once it has borders on it. What colours are you doing the borders? I think a black and a white border would be interesting. It would match those little squares and, hopefully, make the colours pop.

I am loving those blocks to the right.

FVITH X is right. The whole looks much better than it's bits. Your improv blocks are fabulous. Have you thought beyond what's currently on the wall regarding colour?

I loved making that pattern--I'd like to do another, but I'm supposed to be finishing thing, right? :)
