I went to a half price fat quarter sale this week and got more fabric for my third Project of Doom. I was very low on whites and grays. I like to use a variety of fabric in these quilts and try not to repeat the fabric of the books. I am considering not embroidering the titles on these books this time. It takes a lot of time to do and takes me away from my cross stitching. There isn't enough time in a day to do everything, and many quilters make this quilt without titles. I'm usually an overachiever, though, so this decision makes me very uncomfortable. How stupid is that?
Here are some of my POD3 blocks without book titles.
Used This Week: 8.25 yards
Used Year to Date: 20.75 yards
Added this week: 3.5 yards
Added year to date: 23 yards
Net added:2.25 yards

I really like the spiderweb background on this one. Maybe just 'write' in the titles, with a Pigma pen, instead of embroidering them.
I love these book blocks...looking forward to seeing them all together in a quilt. :)

The Pigma Pen idea's not a bad one if you are really uncomfortable leaving off the titles.
I really like your fabric choices on these. They don't bother me without titles.
looking good! The Pigma Pen would be an easy solution
I like the looks of your quilt so far. I'm in the camp with those that suggested writing the titles with a pigma pen. I would also be with you on wanting titles on books. It makes it more finished IMHO. :)
