Design Wall and Stash Update.

We were at the beach for sand soccer this weekend so not much sewing.  I did buy a few fat quarters to make cubes for my one block wonder quilt.  I've spent hours and hours on this, rearranging the blocks and trying to get the color balance right.  The cubes help, but I'm still not satisfied.  Here's what I have so far:

Used this week: 0 yards
Used Year to Date: 43.5 yards
Added this week: 2   yards
Added year to date:  44.25 yards
Net Added: 0.75   yards

A little disappointed that I'm back into net added territory, but as soon as I finish this quilt my numbers will look better.  It is going to get worse, though before it gets better because I need to buy some solid color fabric for the inner border.

I think the arrangement looks great. The golds and grays towards the top seem to balance the reds towards the bottom.

This is going to be really neat when you're finished. I love the colors playing in there.
