I started the Cross Eyed Cricket's Sleepy Hollow sometime last year.

I only worked on it a couple of times, and then I put it away. It is a smaller count linen than I like to stitch on, and the linen is hand dyed, stiff, and no fun to stitch on. I started in the middle of the chart, a very unexciting place in this chart: gray, white, off white, ecru....
It will get better once I'm done with this part, but I'll never get done with this part unless I start stitching on it. So my goal is to work on it at least 2 hours a week. I'll try to remember to post pictures to keep myself accountable. I might even get it stitched by Halloween.

Just clicked over to take a look at the finished piece -- its' going to look GREAT! Have you tried setting a timer and doing fifteen minutes at a time, just until you get through the boring parts?
Years ago, I stitched After the Rain , which is mostly sky and mud and rusting barn roof -- so I know what it feels like!
