Right now the quilt is a good size to be a baby quilt (45 in. square). I could tone down the yellow by putting on a purple border, but then the quilt would be big for a baby quilt. What size is the perfect baby quilt?

I love this quilt. The yellow is very soft and would be nice for a baby quilt.
I think the quilt is perfect. The yellow is not too much at all. The size is just right as well. 45 inches is great for a baby quilt.
The yellow and purple look lovely. Great project.
I really think it is a lovely baby quilt! I am a yellow fan though! Maybe do the binding in purple will add that right finish touch.
Oh, you did a great job. I would bind it with purple and it would be a GREAT baby quilt.
I think it's great!
It looks wonderful. I love the colors and fabrics.
First...I love it, not too much yellow in my opinion...but, if you are thinking about making a change, I would swap out that white inner border for one of the blues, then reattach your beautiful yellow pieced border. The dark might be too much of a frame, maybe the lighter...really though, I like it the way it is..
It is a lot of yellow but it works well. I like it!
Personally, I love how it looks right now! I'm not a yellow fan for anything but I think this is bright and sunny and the white balances the yellow. Just my .02!
I agree with most others -- leave it the way it is. It's perfect for a baby quilt and not too much yellow either. Love the pattern.
Don't change it! It's CUTE! Great border on it.
Dropping in from Michelle's Romantic Tangle - Let's Make Baby Quilts. I agree... Don't change it! I love the yellow - it's easy on the eyes and helps you to focus on the center of the quilt where the stars get to shine. Love it!
