Dr. Seuss Quilt Done

I've been putting off binding this quilt for almost a year.  I had to bind it by hand because the backing was white, and the binding was dark.  I knew machine binding  would have to be perfect to look right on this quilt, so I chose to bind by hand.  This was a free pattern (Let's Party) on the Robert Kaufman website.

A very cute quilt!! I just about always machine bind my quilts so one tip for helping it be "perfect": use invisible (monofilament) thread in both the top and bobbin. Hides a lot of sins!

Seriously cute!! You've inspired me to make a Dr.Seuss quilt for my classroom collection!! I think I even still have the big turquoise dot fabric from that line! Thanks for rejuvinating this fun post under our book theme at TA this week.
