To this:
I need to decide how I'm going to hook these 3 sections together. I still have enough solid rows that I could put a solid row without teeth in between. Or I could take the easy way out and just use a solid piece. I'd rather not just butt them together because there is no way to nest all those seams together, and there would be a lot of bulk. In other news, they have made progress on the porch. We have shingles.
And steps.
Look at the detail on each step.
I feel like we picked the right guy for this job. He is concerned with the little details that I'd never think of.

I love the idea of this zipper quilt. Too fun. I then to run out of design wall and use my pool table :)
The zipper quilt is coming a lone nicely. I like the look of it.
Wow, that zipper quilt is really cool. You've made a lot of progress!
The zipper quilt looks like it would be a good stash buster (or at least a scrap bag buster)! lol. I like all the bright colors too.
Great zipper quilt--never seen anything like that. I think your idea of a solid sashing would help with all the bulk. Congrats on your porch work--the details look so good.
love the zipper quilt! I too don't have a desing wall. it is more like "design floor if you can hurry and take a pic before the kitties find out". LOL
